an informative new website focusing on sustainability and ecology
Claber presents Green World

People who look after their garden, terrace plants, allotment, or even a single flower in a vase, show their appreciation for nature every day, but also want to know more about how to protect our planet from pollution, global warming and the indiscriminate use of water and energy sources.

Claber has always been at the forefront of these and other fields, which are part of the broader issue of sustainable development: in other words, achieving harmony between the needs of nature, technological progress and people.

In fact Claber products help to save water and electricity during irrigation. They are made from recyclable materials and are sold in packaging designed to reduce impact on the environment. However, not everyone is aware that Claber generates 25% of its total energy requirement from renewable sources (hydroelectric and photovoltaic energy) and is committed to increasing this figure to over 50%; or that its factory uses high-efficiency heating and lighting systems to minimise waste and pollution.

In order to communicate its firm commitment to sustainable development, as well as to further promote its culture of environmental respect and awareness, Claber has created the website www.green-world.it. The site’s content includes, among other things, information about clean energy sources, waste sorting or how to select an eco-sustainable product when shopping at your local garden centre or supermarket.

In addition to news on Claber and its world, the site contains three specific sections which broaden the horizons of Green World:

-    Earthgoodnews, a newsletter on the health of the planet
-    Ecosuggestions, with many useful tips for respecting nature
-    Aqualove, a section dedicated to water protection

An effective environmental awareness tool developed by a leading Italian company, the website is also a new source of information for everyone who wants to do their bit for the environment, starting with their own garden.
